The CommonsLab takes part at the Digifest on Wednesday, April 06 at the TEI in Agios Nikolaos and on Thursday to Saturday, April 7-9 at the Androgeo Hall in Heraklion.
We will have a booth presenting some Open-Source Hardware, such as our 3D printers, our CNC milling machine and various versions of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU and other. We will be giving a talk about the possibilities that exist today to learn and create through Free Software and Open-Source Hardware.
Additionally, we will also provide the students with an introductory workshop on 3D printing to offer them a glance into this new and exciting way to manufacture physical objects and into the Open Innovation of technologies that have made this possible.

Θα συμμετέχουμε με χαρά μας στο Φεστιβάλ, στις 06/04 στον Αγ. Νικόλαο και στις 7,8 & 9 στο Ηράκλειο, στην αίθουσα Ανδρόγεω. Δίνοντας μια ομιλία σχετικά με τις δυνατότητες που μας παρέχουν σήμερα οι κοινότητες του ελεύθερου λογισμικού και του open hardware να μάθουμε και να φτιάξουμε σχεδόν τα πάντα!
Επίσης θα κάνουμε ένα εισαγωγικό εργαστήριο 3Δ εκτύπωσης στα παιδιά για να έχουν μια πρώτη επαφή με αυτό το νέο τρόπο παραγωγής φυσικών αντικειμένων αλλά και τις ανοικτές τεχνολογίες που το κάνουν αυτό δυνατό.
Στο Φεστιβάλ θα παρουσιάσουν μαθητές τα έργα τους ενώ θα πραγματοποιηθούν και σειρά ομιλιών και εργαστηρίων.
