With a big anticipation and great excitement we travelled to Athens to take part in the 3rd CommonsFest. This year also as exhibitors as we were showcasing the DonationBox.
First of all we have to say that it was a big and great event. More than 60 participants with talks and workshops and with a keynote from Dr. Richard Stallman, the founder of Free Software Foundation, it was very inspiring.
Great discussions, meeting new people and networking, getting feedback about the Lab and the Box and sharing many ideas!
More specifically about our exhibit, the Box. We got some great reactions, some people showed interest and we shared ideas for features. We hope that soon we will be running some pilot boxes![:el]
Με μεγάλη προσδοκία και ενθουσιασμό ταξιδέψαμε στην Αθήνα για το 3ο Φεστιβάλ των Κοινών. Αυτή τη χρονιά είμασταν εκεί σαν εκθέτες για να δείξουμε το DonationBox.
Πρώτα απ’ όλα θα ήθελα να πω ότι ήταν ένα καταπληκτικό τριήμερο. Με πάνω απο 60 συμμετέχοντες με ομιλίες, εργαστήρια και βασικούς ομιλητές όπως τον Richard Stallman, ιδρυτή του Ιδρύματος Ελεύθερου Λογισμικού, ήταν πολύ εμπνευστικό.
Ωραίες συζητήσεις, νέες γνωριμίες και δικτύωση, γνώμες για το Lab και το κουτί μας και μοιραστήκαμε πολλές ιδέες!
Πιο συγκεκριμένα για το έκθεμα μας, το κουτί. Κάποιοι ήταν αρκετά ενθουσιασμένοι με την ιδέα και έδειξαν αρκετοί ενδιαφέρον, ανταλλάξαμε απόψεις και ιδέες για νέα χαρακτηριστικά. Ελπίζουμε σύντομα να τρέξουμε και μερικά πιλοτικά κουτιά![:]
