We are proud to release an alpha version of our first open source project. A solution for micro-financing community projects that we simply call DonationBox.
It is an open design of a simple box that includes a coin acceptor, an Arduino for reading the coins that pass through a coin acceptor, a Raspberry Pi that reads the values send by the Arduino and runs 2 daemons a web server, a database, WordPress and serves also as a WiFi Hotspot and finally a simple tablet that serves to display the custom UI we have build on top of WordPress which displays the projects and their details.

Παρουσιάζουμε περήφανα τη δοκιμαστική έκδοση του 1ου έργου μας ανοικτού υλισμικού. Μία λύση για μικρο-χρηματοδότηση κοινοτικών έργων που ονομάσαμε DonationBox.
Είναι ένα κουτί ανοικτού σχεδιασμού που περιέχει ένα κερματοδέκτη, ένα Arduino που διαβάζει τα νομίσματα, ένα Raspberry Pi που διαβάζει τις τιμές από το Arduino και τρέχει το λογισμικό, 2 deamons, ένα διακομιστή, μια βάση δεδομένων, το WordPress και λειτουργεί και σαν WiFi Hotspot. Υπάρχει και ένα tablet που δείχνει τις πληροφορίες για κάθε έργο που ζητά χρηματοδότηση μέσα από ένα αλλαγμένο UI που έχουμε φτιάξει πάνω στο WordPress ειδικά για το DonationBox.
